  1. Qwest will provide stand alone dsl it runs about $35.00 a month.

QWEST.com all the info and pricing is there.

  2. Hi, I had att home phone service and internet and this is what I learned. You need a "dry loop line" in order to have dsl without phone from att, which takes a week to activate by the way,so you are without internet and home phone for that time period. Nobody will tell u that your internet and phone service, as with att, may have been bundled together and provided to u at a discounted rate, and if u unbundle them(cancel the phone service but not the internet) u could end up paying close to double, thats full price, for the same internet service. So your notion of saving money goes right out the window in that case.

So to answer your question.. If it is definitely possible to have dsl without home phone service then why not the other services like cable.  I dont think your cell phone will be affected much tho.

*Note..do your research and make SURE u are really saving money..by that i mean read the fine print and ask a lot of questions because what u dont know or ask about may be the very thing they will change on u to try to get over on you. Good luck
