yes. u should be able to stare at things for as long as u need. if that were to happen while u were in a car, u could get in an accident

When you blink does it get better....then out of focus again? If this is the case then it sounds like you may have a problem with your tear film..Dry Eye Syndrome, in other words. Or there could simply be something wrong with your focusing ability in your new glasses. Call your doctor for a recheck. Ask him/her if there is a possiblity you have dry eyes or if the actual Rx. needs to be tweeked. Either way, you should not have to pay for the recheck. Good luck.
