  1. No, all you need is a photo ID or birth certificate.

The passport requirement does NOT apply to U.S. citizens traveling to or returning directly from a U.S. territory.

  2. No you don't need a passport but you do need a valid government ID like a driver's license.

Traveling to and from U.S. Territories

U.S. Citizens traveling to and returning directly from a U.S. territory are not considered to have left the U.S. territory and do not need to present a passport.

    U.S. territories include:

    ▪ American Samoa

    ▪ Guam

    ▪ Northern Mariana Islands

    ▪ Puerto Rico ▪ Swains Island

    ▪ U.S. Virgin Islands

If you are planning to visit the BVI, it would be a good idea to apply for a passport.

    Enjoy)

  3. Not yet, you will in 2009!
