  3. Passport requirements have been delayed until June 2009 (IIRC) for land travel between Mexico, Canada, and the USA.

    Edit  - That actually applies to sea travel also.

    You will if you go past 12 miles into the interior.

  5. You do not need a passport to travel to Mexico by LAND...does not matter how far into Mexico you go.  You do need a birth certificate and photo I.D. See  site below for current info.

  6. Yes you do after 9/11 a birth certicate an ID does not work anymore. Remember you have to re-enter USA again you need a passport
