Do I need a permit to carry passengers?

Question

I'm opening a business in Oahu in the next few months, it's gonna be a hiking company and we'll have to carry our passengers to the location and bring them back to their hotel.

Do I need any type of permit to carry passengers? what permit? how can I get it?

Check wit dept of Motor Vehicles, but  most states call for an endorsement on a commercial license

if you are transporting more than 7 people you do need a commercial drivers license
