Do I need a pest control service for my situation?

I move to a townhouse for almost three months. Recently, I found at least 10 spiders in my house. I don't know where did they come from. I am thinking maybe there are still spiders in my home. Does any one have this situation? Do I need to use pest control? If I use pest control, do I need to do outdoor too?? Do i need to do it every two or three months? or it can be solved once???

or what kind of spray or stuff I can get and do it by myself?

Thanks for sharing.....

  1. You can use store bought spray, but be prepared to apply over and over again, although using a service has the "good" stuff, of which stores can't sale.  The bugs walk over the spray and die.  Licensed  Spray application even last through rain and snow.  Doing both the outside and inside would be best.  Doing a twice yearly should keep them under control, unless they have already laid egg sacks. I was bitten by a Brown Reclue spider, not fun, had rotting skin and now a scar from where the flesh fell off.  Spraying of any kind is cheaper then the medical bill you can tally up from a bite!  Hope this helps, and I hope that I didn't scare you too bad.

  2. just find a spider spray that is safe for indoor use.

Spray around all doors and windows where the spiders might be getting in.

Then clean your house really well, look under and behind furniture and appliances, move anything that hasn't moved in a while and clean any cob-webs you find.

Since you just moved in, its possible that some spiders got into your moving boxes during the move (maybe from the moving truck, or from being carried around outside). Just keep an eye out and use the spray anywhere that you find spiders or anywhere that they could get into the house.

  3. Any insecticide. When you see them , kill them. Simple as that.
