Do I need a service vendors license?

I live in Lucas County Ohio. I am starting a Baby Gear Consulting Service. I am wondering if I need a Service Vendors License? From all of the descriptions I have read on the different types of business licenses, I understand that I do not.

Don't guess about this.  Contact the City Treasurer and they will tell you in 3 seconds.  You may not need a license until you hit a certain income level or sales level.  If you want to establish a Trade Name, pay $10 at the Secretary of States Office.  It is not required. /
