Do I need a signal amplifier to run a 1080p hdmi cable 50 feet, without loosing signal quality? (this cable will be under some heat and pressure (under a tile floor with radiant floor heat))

  1. I would reccomend it.

    I purchased an amplifier for 20ft cables because of signal loss.


  2. The answer is probably not.  If the cable is of good quality, you shouldn't have a problem.  HDMI signals are digital signals, which mean that you will either get a signal or not... there is not an in between in which you get a poor signal.

    And I don't even want to know how much a 50ft HDMI cable set you back :)
