Hi, I have a prescription of -3.00 in both my eyes. Will the size of my eyes change dramatically through a conventional lens? How? Should I use choose another type of lens so my eyes can look more normal? If so, which one? Thank you.

Please, don't suggest if you're not sure.

  1. Yes you should. I was hit with the tip of a rifle while in ROTC in high school and I lost 65% of my vision in my left eye. My right eye is perfect. So my prescription is -2.5 and 0.0 which makes me look very weird in normal lenses. I went with a feather light lens and now they look fine. Just tell your optomitrist that you would like to have thinner lenses. They'll tell you which one is best for you.
