Do I need a special lightbulb for my freezer?

When I removed the lightbulb from my freezer it looks like a regular 60 watt bulb. The information next to the bulb says to use a 60 watt bulb.

You can find them at any Sears, WalMart or Lowes.

Make sure the word "appliance" is on the backing as vanity lights can look very similar.

I would follow the directions , an appliance bulb are also 60watt and you can make the mistake of putting a regular bulb in there. But it does need to be an appliance bulb. The are alittle smaller than a regular bulb.
