  1. If you have a master's degree, you know how to do a web search to find out about teaching certificates.  You're just giving us a test to see if we can put "teacher certification Ohio" in a search box, right?

You can't teach public school without a public school credential from the state education department.

The Ohio Department of Ed website tells you more than you ever wanted to know.

  2. yes, the state will do fingerprints and have you take a state certification exam

  3. All previous answers were correct. You might be able to get a temporary license to teach if it was a needed area like math or science. You'd have to be taking education classes at the same time. Most school districts wouldn't hire you because the Federal government would consider you an unqualified teacher and the school funding could be cut & the parents would have to be notified that you were teaching their kids. You could substitute. You'd need to pass an FBI & BCI fingerprint and background check (at your own expense).

  4. Yes, and FYI Ohio isn't hiring many teachers b/c of funding issues in the schools

  5. yes, no matter your credentials, each state must certify you

  6. Yes you will.
