Do I need a transit visa when travelling from Chennai,India to Buenos Aires via Frankfurt?

I am traveling from Chennai, India to Buenos Aires, Argentina Via Frankfurt. I'm flying Lufthansa LH759 from Chennai to Frankfurt and Lufthansa LH510 from Frankfurt to Buenos Aires. As you can see, I'm transiting Frankfurt to reach Buenos Aires. My question is, do I need a transit visa for Frankfurt?

if I were you , I would contack the German consulate in your home cuty... you just never know!

I do know that foreigners transiting in the USA need a visa regardless if their staying in the US or not!

you shouldn't need a transit visa if you do not leave the airport. if you're staying over night, you will need one.
