Do I need a travel adapter to charge iPod in Puerto Vallarta Mexico?

Depends on where you're coming from. If you're in North America than the outlets are the same, if you're from Europe then they are different! Some places only have the 2 prong things, not the little half circle on the bottom (sorry, I don't know that names) so if you're trying to plug in a lap top or something you might have a problem but the adaptors are only like $3 from any supermarket there.

Nope is the same than the USA, the only coutries that have European outlets are deep south, like Argentina and Uruguay.
