  1. Hello Marco:

Visa's are generally speaking for extended stays or for working purposes.

    Be well.

  2. You definitely don't need a visa for Switzerland if you're only holidaying there! Just like as I, being Swiss, don't need a visa if I went to Ireland. Believe it or not, Switzerland will become member of the Schengen states later this year! So...

If you need more info, ask the Swiss consulate (and not the embassy): 6, Ailesbury Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4

    phone: 01 218 63 82 / 83

  3. Hi, I don't think u require a visa. Visa is needed if ur staying 3 months or more. Moreover if you have a permanent resident certificate of an EU or EFTA country, you don't need visa.even then check with the nearest Swiss Embassy or Consulate. (www.auslaender.ch)

Address of Swiss Embassy in different countries are given here:

  4. No. I went to Switzerland a few years ago. Its absolutely beautiful. Particularly Zurich.

  5. No you don't. However, if you are in any doubt, you are better off asking the Swiss embassy.
