Do I need a visa for visit with a cruise? I'm a Russian citizen with greencard?

Hi, I'm a Russian citizen with american greencard( live in USA) and I'm going on a cruise to Venezuela and Caribbean.

Does anyone know if I need a visa just to get off the ship for a few hours?

I know I need it being Russian with greencard but I heard if you go with cruise you don't need it anymore?

Are you the same person who asked this question before?

Russian citizens do need a visa to go to Venezuela, even if you're a greencard holder in the US. Venezuela doesn't recognize that.  If you don't want to get one, you can stay on the ship.
