Do I need a visa to go to Mexico as a tourist?

I have a french passport and a US non-immigrant visa (H1B).

I'd like to spend some vacation in Mexico but I don't know whether I need a tourist visa or not. I'd fly from Chicago to Mexico City and stay there 9 days.

not unless you're staying there for 3 months or more.

make sure you dont lose your passport either! it would be horrible trying to get back. make copies of it and keep them in more than one place to be POSITIVE you dont lose it!

Nope. The Visa is for American gob. to know who is going illegally and who isn't on a vacation. As far as my knowledge go, Mexico is so open to turists you only need to fill out a few forms on the plane, and deliver them at the airport. YES YOU DO need a PASSPORT. But no visa.
