  1. If you are going there to work, then yes, you need a work visa, and a passport. But if its for school then you need a student visa. But if you're just visiting, you just need a passport.

  2. No you DONT. As a US citizen u can enter the US for up to 6 months without a visa, your canadian passport entitles you to do this through agreement with the US, however to stay longer than 6 months or to be legally able to work in the US you must obtain the relevant Visa.

If u stay longer than 6 months without a visa u become an illegal alien and you may be refused future entry.

In regards to the internship. Your sponsor (employer) should be the ones to internally sort out your visa requirements.

They will provide the job details to the US officials & in turn if successful you will be granted the rights to work/take up the internship.

  3. No, as a tourist, you are allowed in the US for up to 6 months. However, you are not allowed to obtain employment and you need to show that you can support yourself in the US for that period of time.

  4. NO dont go to the US!!

  5. You don't need a visa to visit the US.You can stay in the US for up to 6 months (180 days as a temporary visitor)
