Do I need a visa when travelling to Ireland?

Question

I am from Turkey but holding a student visa to stay in the UK and now I am in the UK.I wonder if I still need a visa to go on one week trip to Ireland

usually the same rules apply for ireland as Britain.  If you are going to Northern ireland then that is part of the Uk so you will have no problem.  

The south or Republic of ireland is an independent country and as so has different laws and rules
