Question:

Do I need a voltage converter in Spain?

I am going to Spain in a couple of weeks and I have a question about using electronics there. I have the appropriate outlet adaptor, but will I need a voltage converter, as well? The things I am bringing that will need to be plugged in: iPod charger; camera battery charger; phone charger; flat iron.

Thanks!

  1. Yes, you will need it.

  2. As someone previously mentioned, 220v is used.  Look at your equipment & see what it says.  When I take my laptop I don't need a converter, just the adapter but that is NOT the case with ALL my electronics.

    Have fun!

  3. the voltage in Spain is 220 V , you will need for sure an adapter for all your electronic equipment.
