If I plan on visiting Ireland for a week in November for a wedding and then again in December, do I need a re entry visa? A bit confused.

Also if I leave Ireland right before 90 days and go to France and then go back to Ireland does my tourist visa start all over again?

I'm American.

  1. If you are an American citizen then you do not require a visa to visit Ireland or France providing your stay does not exceed 90 days.

See the websites below for more details.

If you are going to France and which to travel to other countries then you can apply for a Schengen visa which gives you free right of travel for a maximum of 90 days between:

Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden.

See the third link for more details
