Do I need experience to play freshman football?

I'm going into my freshman year of high school and I'm going to be playing on the football team. However, I'm a little nervous because I've never played on a real football team before. Do you need experience on a real football team before you play high school freshman football?

you dont need prior experience (evidence by my freshman year football team that only won one game on a forfeit) anyway, the experience you have gotten even with friends or whatever is not a "real football team" in your book will suffice. youll be fine! just play, have fun and enjoy every single second of it. if any part of it becomes uncomfortable, remember you dont have to keep doing it. GO TEAM!
