  1. They can be expensive - 100 bucks a piece or so - but unless you are staying in a nice American style resort the entire time

    I would make sure you have Hep A and Hep B.   If you want to eat food outside of the hotel - also get Typhoid.  And if you are going to spend time hiking etc. take the Malaria vaccine and bring some cortizone or anti itch cream for possible bug bites.   The diarhea pills are also a good idea just in case.

    shouldn't worry about costs, it's your health!

  3. No,  you can check with your doctor.  The only places you need injections any more are like Africa or places with Cholera.  The only two shots they really offer is yellow fever and Cholera.  They do have pills for Malaria, but most people who use them live in the areas.

  4. Scroll down the list on the CDC site (listed as part of my response) for the specific countries you will visit. I suggest speaking to your family doctor about these shots or check with a travel doctor in your area by doing an internet search.
