Do I need insurance to apply for a ga drivers license?

Question

I had a suspened NC d license, but it is all taken care of now, and I now live in Atlanta, and want to know do I need insurance to get a license here? If so can I use non-owners insurance?

Make sure to take all your paperwork proving the old charges are taken care of when you apply. You only need insurance to drive a vehicle (or in some States, to register a vehicle). Not aware of "non owners" insurance.
