Ok, heres my situation.

At the ArrowHead Credit union I have a bank account, I am 16, and I got a check for a sponsorship of my computer show... now, I totally forgot about identification to add to your account. I misplaced my wallet in my house somewhere therefore I do not have access to my ID. **Yes, I know, an irresponsible act.

anyway, is there anyway to deposit my money without my id?

I forget if they need my ID, my SSN, or both. Ahhh. Yes, I have done it before, but I forgot what the process was.

Please! I need help!

  1. Anyone can make a deposit in to your account if you have the account number. You do not need ID to do this.

  2. usually to deposit money you don't need ID just an acct. #.

  3. You shouldn't need ID to deposit to your account.  If the teller doesn't know you, don't count on getting cash back and there's a possibility that you won't get a receipt back (depending on whether account numbers, balances, etc. are printed on receipts at your bank), but to just deposit, hand the check to the teller, and he or she should be able to look up your account number and go from there.

I've mailed checks for deposit, put deposits in overnight bags, deposited $ in other people's accounts even, etc. and if you can do that, you can do it without ID!
