  1. The others are right, and there is no generic form for the newest form of Ambien--Ambien CR, which is a layered form that lets you fall asleep and stay asleep.  Insurance will pay for 5 and 10 mg generic Ambien only.

  2. Valerie is correct, but I'll add something to this. Zolpidem (ambien) works very well to help you fall asleep. Most reports claim and I have tried this,

they help you fall asleep but not stay asleep. I've heard this from other people with the same disclaimer. Good luck-sleep tight etc...

  3. There is no generic available for Lunesta, so you might need a prior authorization.  There is a generic for Ambien (zolpidem) which is usually covered by insurance at your generic copay.

  4. Great design, resourceful information,user-friendly layout should be a good place to answer your questions.http://insurance.online-frees.info/insur...

  5. As the others said, only a generic for Ambien is available.  It is called zolpidem.  My insurance does not require pre-authorization, but each company has their own rules and tricks.  It does work well and very fast--in about 15 or 20 minutes.
