  1. I just took a cruise out of Puerto Rico.  I didn't need a passport to fly into Puerto Rico.  I did need a passport for the cruise that left and returned to Puerto Rico.  However, I didn't need a passport when I returned to the United States mainland from Puerto Rico.

Puerto Rico is a US territory.  So it is considered part of the USA.

  2. ask the cruise company. I did this recently about Mexico and they said that's ok for a UK passport holder. Just email and ask, telling them your nationality

  3. No because Puerto Rico is a part of the US.

  9. I believe that most cruise lines require passengers to have valid passports before they will allow them to board the cruise ship.

Contact your cruise line to be sure.
