  1. Yes, and you should have paid so taxes too.

  2. I had to apply for Medicaid in TX a few years ago.  I had to provide my driver's license, SS card, pay stubs, utility bills, and a statement from my neighbor saying that my kids did indeed live with me.  It is a hassle.  I went down to the Dept of Human Services office and they gave me a packet to fill out.  It has everything you need to know.

I believe there are special provisions for Immigrants, but I'm not sure what they are.

  3. You need your Social Security card, your drivers license, proof of your address (lease, rent receipts), utilities bills, proof of your income and the income of everyone else in the household, medical statements from your doctor regarding any chronic health conditions, any temporary or permanent disability, etc.

If you are pregnant, you need proof from your doctor, pay stubs/statements from your job, identity of the father and his data, job, income, etc.  They will go after him to make him pay child support and your medical bills.  And if you are a minor, they will go afterr your parents.

With budget cuts, budget deficits, the sinking economy, social services are getting tougher, and as budgets get tighter, doctors & other medical care providers are dropping out of the system & refuse to accept medicaid.  Strictly 3rd or 4th rate care, so find any way at all to avoid this.

  4. you are in the Wrong section to ask that.....are you Illegal?

  5. yes you do

  6. No , depending on what type of medicaid you are applying for.

If you have no SS then you may apply for what they call Emergency Medicaid.  ( EMA is only for perm res under 5 yrs and illegal)

It will only pay for a past hospital visit. It is not like regular medicaid you get every month. You visit must be considered life threatening,  or something that will put you out for 12 months, death or birth.
