Do I need permission to post a photo I took of a child on my blog?

The kid is in a pic with me. He's 4. Do I need to ask his mom?

Yes, because he is a minor and under the age of 12. I would get written permission from his mother and file it away. I'd hate to get sued oversomething that could take five seconds to remedy.

No you shouldn't have to as long as you are in it. It is Considered your picture. If she okay it to take the picture with her son then she shouldn't care for you uploading it
