Do I need proof of address to get a Florida driving permit?

I'm moving from Massachusetts to Florida, can i get my driving permit as soon as i move to Florida or do i have to wait until i have proof of address in Florida???

I've looked on the dmv website and i'm aware i have to do that safe driving/alcohol course, but i can't find anything about proof of address.

As you already know from the Florida DMV:

Required are:

* Two forms of identification, which must be original or certified.

* Social Security card, if you have one.

* Proof that you've completed a Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education course.

* $20 fee.

I couldn't find anything about proof of address either.
