I think I have some kind of unwanted thoughts disorder. This means that I can't control my mind, I see images and hear repetitive words or phrases that tell me to do things I don't want to do. I've been successful in ignoring them and have lived a normal life so far. But I think I need to get this condition settled before it gets worse. The problem is that I don't know where to start. I have to cope with this everyday and it really stresses me out.

  1. You should see a psychiatrist who can diagnose the condition and prescribe medication.  Also, try meditation and exercise to get control of your thinking.  Think of your mind like a garden that must be tended.  You only reap what you sow, so sow good plants.  Read my Yahoo! blog for further suggestions.  If you still have major problems, see the psychiatrist; you should probably see one anyway.

  2. Everyone does.  Yes.

  3. I know a good way to start and it's called your DOCTOR.  Make an appointment now.

  4. This sounds like worse case scenario some type of schizophrenia, though the fact that you can supress the voices and thoughts is a good sign. You should really go see someone about this issue, especially if you've had it for a long time and have just been dealing with it, and if it's gotten worse. A therapist or a psychologist could help you. You shouldn't have to live with that.
