I'm not that athletic, so I'm worried about taking this class. The course description mentioned something about sport injuries... I heard the course is just what makes about the human body, is this true?
Human Anatomy and Physiology is intended for students interested in pursuing health and applied health-related fields, sports training, dietetics, and occupational safety. The main concept will be that the human body functions as an integrated unit. This integration exists at all structural levels from cell through system. The basic concepts of structure and function and homeostasis will be studied. Discussion of disease, sports injuries, dieting and health care issues will integrate with the discussion of human anatomy and physiology. Students enrolled in this course will research clinical applications and prepare presentations.
I'm interested in the medical field, that's why i picked it.
