Question:

Do I need to book my airfare now?

In the last few days the news has been reporting all these airlines that are pulling airplanes and displacing several employees in the next few months. Do I need to worry now about the price of a flight that I need to take in November or should I be ok in waiting for awhile? Flying direct with Air Canada seems to be financially outrageous! Please give me your opinions.

Thanks Lynn

  1. Depends on where you're flying from and to, of course.

Prices often hit their lowest three to six weeks before departure, unless you catch an earlier seat sale. There are often seat sales from the end of August to mid-September, so I'd wait till then.

  2. You might want to book it soon
