Do I need to buy Norton 360? Is my computer protected by Yahoo?

Yahoo is not protecting you at all friend! Your email account has a spam filters you can set up.. but as for virus protection and spyware .. they are not doing that for you.. you need to get a security program and quick if you log onto the net..

Before you buy a security software program.. check with your ISP.. they might have a plan you can buy from them and pay for it with your monthly payment to them fro service.. the ISP I have provides a monthly pay plan for the McAfee Security Suite for 2.99 a month..  but if your service doesn't offer it.. then I reccommend McAfee anyway.. you can get a 30 day free trial from them to check it out.. and a years subscription is around 50 dollars..

And I have tried Norton.. they are more expensive in the long run.. and they take over your computer it seems like.. slows you down really bad..

If your going to buy one .. I hate Norton.. try the free trial from McAfee.. nothing lost .. maybe lots gained..

lol and no I don't work for McAfee.. just know a few friends who lost their computer to a virus using Norton.. they just drop the ball too often for me..

Yahoo provides some spam filtering, but not antivirus protection. Norton is popular, but bulky and annoying imo. Try AVG or Nod32.
