  1. if it is included in your own insurance then no. i have a $500 deductable towrds a rent a car. I sometimes get it just for piece of mind though cuz its less expensive and you can always add it later in your trip.

    I've had good results here...

    Good Luck.

  2. IF YOU ALREADY HACE C/C ON YOUR VEHICLE, THEN IT WILL CARRY OVER TO YOUR RENTAL CAR, IF YOU DON'T HAVE C/C ON YOUR VEHICLE THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO PURCHASE IT FROM THE RENTAL DEALER.

  3. Your (parked car) insurance should transfer to and cover the rental.  Most credit cards will also provide the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) coverage when you use that card to pay for the rental.  You probably don't need to buy the rental companys expensive insurance.  Contact your insurance and your Credit card company to make sure of the coverages.

  4. Your car insurance policy may cover you.  Check with your insurer.

ALSO, your credit card may cover you, believe it or not.  Check with your credit card company.

    Chances are, no you don't.
