I know that you should wash a new shirt alone (does the temperature matter if it's by itself?)... But should I dry it separately too?

  1. No, you can have people over, while your doing it.

Sometimes cold water causes "shrinkage",so let it know your still there, keep reassuring it.

And, yeah, you don't want to be in there with it.

You just got kicked out, huh?

  2. Depends on the material. You may want to read label on the shirt. Sometimes I put a dry pillowcase in with one or two items, helps to dry quicker, low temp so as not to shrink or discolor clothing with high heat.A dark item may pick up hair or light colored fuzz. You may consider hanging item on hanger to dry.Make sure it does not need to go to dry cleaner before washing. Good Luck..

  3. Well.. I know for sure my mom doesn't wash my new shirts by themselves; but with alike colors. I know she doesn't dry them because they will shrink. She lets them air dry.

But what do i know? I'm only a teenager.

  4. just let it air dry, it will most likely shrik in the dryer.  put it on a hanger and hang it up to let it dry.
