Question:

Do I need to have a subtitle for the introduction paragraph on my Curriculum Vitae?

Currently, I have "PROFILE" as a sub-heading for the introduction paragraph (or profile bit I suppose!). Could I get away with removing the sub-heading? I could put the introductory paragraph in a different font perhaps? Its just that I have a sub-heading for every other bit in my CV and I like to keep some consistency! Space is at a premium!

This is my "PROFILE" paragraph:

PROFILE

"Eager to pursue a career in the exciting field of mechanical engineering. Looking for a challenging and rewarding career to demonstrate my abilities and determination to succeed. Confident in my ability to bring innovative ideas and solutions that are cost effective and practical. Ready to apply high standards, skills and experience. Able to relocate without any problems."

  1. It might add to the profile leaving it untitled, since that would make it stand out, but when in doubt keep consistent.
