I am including a wedding website address where people can RSVP in lieu of mailing a response. I think most of my family will RSVP that way - Should I still include postage on all of my RSVP envelopes? It seems like a waste of money. Obviously people like my grandparents that do not use a computer - I will include postage,

  1. Those who you expect to use the website, don't give them the option to mail back a RSVP that will help take care of the issue.  You should have a good idea on who would use the site or not-- if in doubt then send an envelope and postage.  But I wouldn't for those who you know for sure will use the website.

  2. If you are requiring a written response, then it is the correct thing to include a postage paid envelope.  If you specify, that the invitees should respond by phone or E-mail only, then you would not place a SASE in the invitation.

  3. Yes, only for those without computers.

  4. I would state that you are donating the postage cost of RSVPS to a charity but make sure and let those not computer friendly know that you would love to hear from them on the phone. Of course send postage to the grandparents.  If you have a larger wedding(or even if you don't) you could post how much was given to charity, how much paper and garbage was saved. Why not make it an Earth friendly wedding if you can?

  5. you are supposed to but, a lot of people don't send them back. I didn't, I put a phone number and an email to rsvp to and it worked great.
