I already have this two, but I'm wondering If I really need more. I want to go to as many museums as I can, in two days. But I do not want to pay the extra money to book them in advance.

I plan to go to San lorenzo, Batistero, Capelle medice, Palazzo vecchio and Galleria Palatina.

Thank you

  1. I'm not sure you can do that. If you can, do that! Florence is alwyas overcrowded with tourists and the lines may be very very long. When I last went there, a couple of months ago, I saw so many people standing in line waiting to visit the uffizi. If you schedule your visit in advance it will save yourself time.

    Bye

  2. I wouldn't have thought it was necessary in September. Even for the Uffizi, then, you should be able to get in without waiting for long, at least if you are sure to be there as soon as it opens in the morning (although booking is essential if you wish to visit some special areas of the collection that are not open to everyone or at all times).

  3. You shouldn't need advance reservations for the other museums in September. I've never had any problem walking in except at the Uffizi and Accademia. Even the Galleries at the Pitti Palace shouldn't be a problem as a walk up. I went to Florence today for lunch and was able to get into the Palazzo Vecchio and Santa Croce with no wait.
