I only have 1-2 weeks to study for my test & I just got my handbook todayy and i'm really freaked out because it's just too much information ): So what do you need to memorize? :) A lot of people said it's common sense but my sister failed it three times before she passed.. and she won't tell me what's on it!

  1. It is common sense!  What do you do at a flashing red light?  You stop completely, look both ways and if the traffic is clear, you proceed.  That's common sense.  When making a left hand turn, you don't make a wild turn in front of oncoming traffic, you yield and wait for it to pass and then make your turn.  That's common sense.

I would suggest that you read the book very carefully front to back.  Mark those pages that you don't understand and re-read those pages until you do understand them and then go take your test.  I think you will be pleasantly surprised.  You are not your sister, don't worry that she has problems passing....that was her, not you.

  2. I failed the 1st time, but thats cuz I hardly even looked at it.

You don't need to memorize everything, but you deff need to read everything at least once. The answers aren't all common sense and pay attention to numerical details.

  3. No, you need to know how to read the signs, when to turn on a red light, how to stop and all of the other basic rules for driving.
