Actually you can open an account in Bahrain only after you are legally a resident here that is after emigration and not for emigration.

You need to have the CPR card and your passport which has your residence permit to open an account. You just go to any bank with these two things and they will open the account. The minimum balance normally is BD 20 for a saving account which doesnt have any checking facility
