Do I need to pay BT phone line rental if I am with Virgin Media?

I'm a bit confused about who I pay what to! If you are paying Virgin Media £11 a month for their 'Talk Weekends' package, do I still also need to pay BT for the line rental or is that what I am paying Virgin?

no you dont. virgin media will set up your phone line and give you one of their numbers. if you then go onto the sky website for example and put in your telephone number to see if you can get sky it will tell you that it is a non BT line. if you have a bt line also i would cancel it as they might keep trying to take money otherwise.

if you only have calls with virgin media then you still need to pay bt for line rental, its about £11 per month.  ÃƒÂ‚£11 per month for talk weekends with virgin seems very dear, with bt you get  free evening and weekend calls for £1.45 per month
