Do I need to pay n get a prescription to buy contact lens here in Central London as I only need it for a mth?

I was told that I need to get a prescription to buy contact lens here in Central London which is something new to me as it's not like that from where I come from plus I only need to use them for a month. Therefore, I am wondering if there's anyone who could kindly recommend me a place on where I could buy the lens as I really need to change my lenses without having to burn a hole in my wallet. What about daily lenses? I really need to change my disposables soon

I heard you always needed a prescription, to stop stupid people from buying the wrong lenses and damaging their eyes

its easy. as long as you know your prescription! you can buy them over the counter at chemists and opticians. Monthly disposables are a winner and cheap enough that if you do lose or damage on its no biggie.
