Do I need to re-submit everything AGAIN for a E2 Visa in Korea?

If I submitted all my docs (Diploma, transcripts etc) and got approved for a E2 visa to teach in Korea, do I have to do it all again when going back. In other words, everytime I got back to the country, do I need to resubmit everything or do they keep it in some database?

  1. If you continue teaching at the same place you do not need to re-submit everything.  If you change to a different school, you do.

  2. Yes U do depending on what u plan on doing and the korean gov imiigrations says and the consulates. I would go by what they say to do. They know best in this instance. It pays to talk to the local immigration office, your employer, your recruiter if u have one, and the korean consulates about this. One of the other requiremnts that teachers have to go through is getting their heath statement done at the end of this process of the e-2 visa. I found a place that u might be interested in talking to. The korea consulate in los angelas has a question and answer thing about visas and passports. It is in their community section of the consulate. I am sure if u post the question there they can try and help u there also.

  3. Yes, you need to submit it again. If you have not done so, you need to submit a criminal background check as well. If you are an American you can do it at the FBI or a state law enforcement office (on-line checks are no longer accepted by immigration).
