Do I need to reserve the beach for a party?

If not, then how do I go about having a small party (bonfires,volleyball,cookout,etc) ?

You don't have to have or make reservations. Just get there really early and set up you stuff next to a firepit. The firepits go fast, so I would get there before noon. Maybe 9am. lol...I know that's early but there are people who are there even earlier.

You might want to contact the chamber of commerce, or even the police department to make sure it is legal to have a bonfire on the beach.  You don't want to end your party with a hefty fine, or worse,  in jail!  Good luck!
