Do I need to use the pan cover while frying chicken or will it jeopardize the crispiness?

  1. I always cover so it doesn't splatter all over the place, and crisp it up under the grill in the oven.  


  2. I think if you cover it, it might steam, and make the batter peel off.

    The ideal thing is to get one of those big, circular, mesh things that you lay over the top of the pan.  It catches the grease.

  3. Covering chicken while frying it, will loose crispiness. Just lower the heat and do not let the chicken touch in the frying pan, keep it separate it

  4. If you cover it ...will loose crispiness. the heat will make it soft.

  5. I always use the lid on the pan when frying the chicken because it will hold the heat in and allow the meat to cook faster.  Once the meat is done, I will remove the lid so that the meat will become crispy.  Hope that helps you.
