Well I dont know about California and I know I should really wear a helmet but i don't and I live in Texas and the cops have driven next to me and saw me without a helmet. They didn't do anything. I'm not 18. But if motorcycles people aren't required to wear helmets I don't think people riding bikes should be either.

I would wear a helmet at all times no matter the age in every

state. To not wear one is very dangerous. If you had an accident , you risk permanent brain damage.
