I used to weight lift a lot, but mostly on lower body (calves, quads, etc.), and I have been amping up running in the past month (14-20 miles per week) so do I need to continue working out lower body equally or only once in a while?

  1. It really depends on your goals.  Generally speaking, I'd say you need to have a regimen that works all the muscles in your body.  If you're concentrating on your running and building endurance, you don't need to work your legs as much.  However, if you're working on speed, you'll need to continue to work your legs.

  2. I work on my core like abs and stuff. But if you decide to work on your legs, uphill running will help SOOOOO much!!
