Do I need transit visa? Filipino citizen to Amsterdam via franfurt.?

Filipino Passport, travelling to Amsterdam via frankurt. Since both cities are schengen states, will Netherland embassy give me schengen visa without restriction or do I have to apply seperately for a Netherland visa and transit visa to frankurt?

  1. i think not since you have schengen visa of which basically germany is part of it.


  2. Normally the Dutch Embassy gives Schengen Visa, that is to say , that you can travel to every country which has ratified the agreement. At present: Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Austria, Liechtenstein, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland. So the Schengen Agreement does not inclued all EU countries.
