Do I need two dvr’s to record two shows?

Ok I want to get dish Network but I only want one HD-DVR receiver in my room and that’s. it. So will I be able to record two shows at once? Or record one show and watch another one?

yeah the one reciver will record 2 things at once but youll have to watch one of them wile you are recording

Dish network offers Dual-Tuners which, if memory serves my properly, can record two shows at once, and offers features like being able to watch something else while one show is recording and supporting Picture in picture (which your TV must sopport, too)
