Do I need visa to go to Canada if i was born in California?

I was born in California so do I need visa to go to Canada, also my dad was born in Persia, does he need visa to go, if he does how much does visa cost and how long does it take, because im planning to go in about a week.

I think a visa is if you are staying more than for vacation.

Passports take a few months to get.

If you're moving there you might, but I was born in Ohio and we didn't need a visa to visit Canada
